Julia Johnson was born on June 1, 1904, the daughter of Mary Schardt Johnson and Charles Johnson.
In the 1910 Census, she was living with her parents and seven other children named Johnson, ages 3 to 20, all listed with Mary and Charles as their parents.
In the 1930 census, she’s single, living with her parents and three siblings in Chicago, and working in a beauty shop. In the 1940 census, she’s a beauty operator, married to Gerhart Meyers (Gerhard Meyer, born January 1, 1899) with a one-year-old son Charles, and living with her parents and three siblings in Chicago.
They had two children:
- Charles Meyer
- Jerome A Meyer
She died at age 79 in February 1984 in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Gerhard Meyer died at age 89 on March 26, 1988.
